Daniel grew up in the infamous Queensbridge housing projects in Queens, NY. He spent much of his youth playing stickball, ring-a-levio,basketball and touch football. Daniel attended preparatory seminary hoping to become a priest, but became disillusioned and left school after the 10th grade. He got his G.E.D. and then enrolled in community college for a year or two. Through the world of acting he was exposed to Shakespeare, Plautus,Moliere, Chekhov, Pinter, Fletcher, Strindberg and O'Casey. He became a voracious reader, a lover of art and a student of life. Daniel considers himself 1 of the luckiest men alive, doing the things he loves the most: acting, traveling, spending time with his beautiful wife Laura and their very active cat Guinevere.
